Nasa set out a 3D printed habitat challenge HASSELL and structure engineer Eckersley O’Callaghan created an autonomous modular robot to create 3D printed homes using material from Mars. The bots will have more than one role that includes battery storage, scouting, logistics, excavation, and 3D printing.
